MandateLuke 9:58 (NIV) But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33 (NIV) "Martha, Martha" the Lord answered, "You are worried and bothered about so many things, but only one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her. (Phil. 4:12-13; Heb 13:5) -Trust God to provide your needs. He can and He cares. (Matt. 6:25-33) -Watch out! Possessions can rule & destroy you. (Matt.6:24;1Tim.6:9) -Invest in what lasts. (Luke12:33;6:19-21) -Be generous with your possessions. (Luke 6:30) -Simplify in order to prioritize. (Matt. 6:33;13:45-46;Luke 10:41-42 Comments[0]

Sat, 8 April 2006 Thursday's Summary: Ken walked through the sequence of events as we know them from Sunday morning to the present, and shared a few stories of how God is working in the lives of others through this tragedy. No significant information was available that had not already been passed along to the body. Don Cast encouraged people to meet with their families and friends to express the impact this has had on their lives. Everyone broke into small groups for a time of prayer. Latest Update: Late Friday Night Bert Alexanders body was found in Nicaragua. Parks was able to identify his father and called Karen with the news. Please continue to pray for the families and for Jim, Allen and Parks as they work with the two governments to be able to return home. Comments[0]
